Rupert and Florence's wedding at the Cape Town Castle

Rupert and Florence took things to the next level. Their dream of having a royal style / South African wedding came true, thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and attention to detail on their part. A day time ceremony at historic St Pauls church in Rondebosch was followed by tea in the church hall. The Cape Town Castle of Good Hope was the exquisite and original venue for the more intimate family lunch, the existing decor telling so many stories about Cape Town and ghosts, that not much more was required. The food was amazing, a lot of it foraged from the west coast where chef Kobus runs his restaurant Oep ve Koep. Rupert is a hardcore botanist, (they exist ok), and so the flowers in the church were potted and very rare ericas, borrowed from his mate at Kirstenbosch and of course, the confetti was indigenous. : )
